The apostle Paul prayed for the Church to have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of the Father. This full knowledge had to do with the hope of our calling, the riches of the Father's inheritance in us His people, and the exceeding greatness of His power that works in us as believers. He informs us that we have been made alive, raised up and enthroned with Christ and share His authority. These truths are the possession of every born again believer, but many are not aware of these things. This book has been written to help remedy that lack of knowledge.

Joe McIntyre's book, Throne Life: Sharing Christ's Throne, has been a tremendous blessing. As noted in the tag line for this review, I am convinced without this revelation the church will not release the level of love, power, and authority required to release the Kingdom on the earth. Now don't get me wrong, the earth will indeed be full of the knowledge of His Glory (Hab 2:14), but we need the revelation of moving from Heaven to earth to see it accomplished. Joe has provided a guide to renew our thinking along these lines. As stated by at least one other reviewer, Joe includes a number of great quotes from Kingdom thinkers at the end of each chapter to stir our love and faith - faith works through love (Gal 5:6). One such quote is from John A. MacMillan:
[The right hand of the throne of God is the center of power of the whole universe, and the exercising of the power of the throne was committed unto the ascended Lord. He is still there awaiting the Father's time when His enemies shall be made a footstool for His feet. The elevation of His people with Him to the heavenlies has no other meaning than that they are made sharers, potentially for the present, of the authority which is His. They are made to sit with Him; that is, they share His throne. To share a throne means without question to partake of the authority which it represents. Indeed, they have been thus elevated, in the plan of God, for this very purpose, that they may even now exercise, to the extent of their spiritual apprehension, authority over the powers of the air, and over the conditions which those powers have brought about on the earth and are still creating through their ceaseless manipulations of the minds and circumstances of mankind.]
I appreciated the focus on the `finished' work of Christ. Joe reminds us, "Christ's work was not finished when He died on the cross, but rather when He presented His blood in the heavenly sanctuary" Beloved, this is the place where we too are seated in Him, to behold His beauty, and to be transformed into His Image.
He rightfully focuses on the revelations of the Apostle Paul concerning these truths. For "the backbone of Paul's teaching is the fact that we were participants in all that Jesus endured... His victory is our victory."
Yet the truth is, "We do not enter into experientially any more than we perceive by revelation. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to bring us into this revelation. He delights to unfold the riches that are ours in Christ. He has been given to guide us into all Truth. (1 Cor 2:12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God."
There is so much more I simply can't cover in a brief review. Each chapter is well presented, and Joe lovingly walks the believer in Grace & Truth toward a transformed mind. He includes a prayer at the end of each chapter to stir the reader to experience the revelation in fellowship with our Loving Father.
We actually used the book to bring a group through the teachings; not only did many experienced fresh encounters with the Father, but also several testified of breakthroughs in areas where the enemy had built up strongholds. From the Throne Room, each was enabled to move from Heaven to earth in order to see His justice enforced. "He delights for us to enter into His glorious provisions."
In closing, let me encourage you to pick up a copy of the book. Honestly, it should be 'required reading' for the new (and old) believer. As you meditate upon Grace and Truth, you too will learn to "partner with the Lord in administering His Kingdom dominion." Shalom.

Throne Life Sharing Christ Throne edition by Joe McIntyre Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Jesus said he came to give us his own life. Well, are we experiencing that, or not? Maybe the reason - if our answer is no - is that we have failed to see ourselves in Christ. When we see ourselves in Christ, then Christ in us is automatically released. Throne life is about living. Jesus doesn't live on earth anymore, like he did in the gospels. He lives in Heaven and in us. Humanity can choose to live in defeat, or by the right hand side of the Father, like Jesus does. Yes, we endure problems in life sometimes. What better way to view and solve this life's sorrows than at the throne of Jesus! It's a book you can read in one sitting. And keep on sitting, and let Jesus live his life in and through you. It happens automatically, This is the kind of life that Jesus promised when he said that we are to have his life. And that's a good life - despite tears and traumas that can happen in life. Highly recommended!
The book is based on a 19th century manuscript teaching by George Peck that is still relevant for today. Easy to understand and the activation prayers at the end of each chapter are anointed and powerful. I often feel a rush of (unexplained) emotions and tears welling up in my eyes at the powerful presence of Holy Spirit and as I spoke the prayers out loud this is what I felt.
This book teaches us our standing "in" Christ and why we are to apply our authority to the problems we face from the stand point of being in the heavenly place of seated "with" Christ on His throne. Being in that place we are high above the problems of this natural realm and why we have the authority over them.
The book clearly states who we are in Christ, what He has done for us and increases our faith in our authority. It's not a how-to book as much as it is why we can do the things Christ did. Bottom line we have authority as we sit in Christ in the Heavenly places. It's all about what Christ did for us on the cross and it's so much more than just forgiveness of sins. Christ did die for our sins but He rose from the dead victoriously to bring us to right standing with God. He brought us to the heavenly realm with Him. Christ presented His blood in the heavenly sanctuary and we are transformed as we behold the glory of the resurrected Lord and not by focusing on His death. We can only see the glory of the Lord with the help of the Holy Spirit. Spiritual things can only be discerned by the spirit.
It is a message of our authority in Christ and His finished work. It is about sharing the Throne with Christ as we are in Him. All the promises of God are Yes and Amen in Christ NOW, (2 Corinthians 120).
